What is TEACh3?

TEACh3 is a program of the Coast Community College District created in conjunction with the Teacher and Reading Development Partnership (TRDP).   The TRDP project was funded through the budget of the Governor of California and administered by the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office, .

TEACh3 is a community wide collaborative effort.  Our partners include:

  • Orange County elementary and high schools
  • Integrated Teacher Education Programs (ITEP) at California State University Long Beach & STEP at California State University Fullerton
  • other colleges and universities
  • education-related organizations
  • student organizations
  • business and community groups
The TEACh3 program offers students a personalized path to reach their teaching goal. TEACh3 gives you the quickest route to the classroom while offering and assuring:
  • quality education from innovative, caring faculty
  • direct transfer to a California State University or other participating universities
  • career path planning and special academic advising
  • information workshops
  • scholarships and financial aid
  • required English, math and speech classes geared toward future teachers
  • service learning experience in local elementary schools
