TEACh3 - Teaching Tomorrow's Teachers--Teacher Education At Coast Community Colleges

Welcome

There is a critical , growing need for teachers, especially in the State of California.  Due to increased enrollments and class size reduction, California will need at least 260,000 to 300,000 K-12 teachers in the next 10 years.  The job market is excellent, and the incentives and salaries are on the rise.

The teaching profession is changing and growing in exciting ways.  As the student population changes and the teaching profession faces new challenges, new teachers from a broad, multi-cultural background are needed to bring fresh new energy to the classroom.  Whether you're a returning professional, or a recent high school graduate, you're needed as a California teacher.

The Coast Community College District has created an innovative new program called TEACh3.  This program streamlines the education process by providing a direct path from community college to an accredited university for your liberal arts degree and teaching certification.   Participation in TEACh3 is open to any student enrolled at Coastline Community College, Golden West College or Orange Coast College.
